St Xavier's College, Thumba

The College has a campus hostel only for female students of the college. Constructed with the help of UGC and Kerala Jesuit Society, the hostel can accommodate 60 students with three occupants in a room. Applications are accepted only after admission to the College has been secured. The College Principal is the overall charge of the Hostel. However, the sisters of St. Gerome are entrusted with the administration of the hostel, with Fr. Pious Vachaparambil acting as the director. Sr. Kocuthresia is the warden, and Sr. Shincy is the assistant warden.

 The College has a  Medical Facility for all the students. Basic first aid is available with the College General Office. The College General Office personnel will facilitate the calling of a doctor in case of an emergency, or the person concerned can be immediately taken to the nearby Fatima Hospital, Thumba.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The College library has a collection of 28,524 books and 54 journals/magazines. Over 193 Educational CDs on different subjects are available for the use of stakeholders. The library is fully automated with LIBSOFT software and an OPAC facility. Books available for circulation are listed in the OPAC. Information about the status (such as issued, binding, and withdrawn) of books is also available through OPAC. Library staff is monitored by an automated gate register software. The college also houses department libraries under various departments in coordination with the main library. 

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure for the students.

The College has Canteen a large spacious area, with a view of greenery and a variety of refreshments and meals available. It is a place on the campus not only for refreshment but also for student bonding, discussions, and even for working on assignments and projects.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

The college has a department-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facility for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has provided a parking space for vehicles at the college entrance.
