The College has constructed a 3-storeyed girls’ hostel for the female students coming from distant areas.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The Gym and Fitness Center of S. B. M. S. College is a well–equipped Fitness Center to keep students healthy. The Center is sponsored by UGC. This well-equipped physical exercise Center provides training to interested students as well as ex-students of college to keep them healthy at a nominal charge of fees. At present, there are two physical instructors, namely Sri Pranab Das (For the Morning Shift) and Sri Mrinal Das (For the Evening Shift), who have been guiding the students in the Fitness Center. Mr. Ranjit Taku, Asst. Professor, Department of Education, is in charge of the Gym and Physical Fitness Center at present. The Center has brought laurels to the College by achieving positions in Weight Lifting, Power Lifting, and Body Building competitions at the state as well as National Levels.

The college has a Library that was started in the year 1963. It was initially housed in a single room of the College. When the volume of books started increasing, the Library was shifted to an independent building. Late Harbilash Baishya was the first Librarian of this Library. The Present Library is located centrally within the College Campus. It was conventionally accessible to the user community. Library Timing: The working hours of the Library are as follows: 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, except Sundays and Holidays. Numbers of Books Issued: H. S. Students: 1 Book Each for 15 Days D. C. Students: 2 Books Each for 15 DaysFaculty Members: 15 Books for 30 Days Library Collection: Total Text Books 12,485 Nos. Reference Books = 10,088 Nos. Magazines: Gariyoshi, Pranic, Frontline, Day After. NewsPaper: Assam Tribune (2 Nos.), Asomiya Pratidin (2 Nos.), Niyomiya Barta (1 No.), Khabar (1 No.), Dainik Asom (1 No.), and The Times of India (1 No.). The college has sports facilities for all students. Sports and Games: Cricket, Badminton.

The college has a Computer Laboratory used by major students in the IT department of the College.

The college has done good work for the alumni association. The Alumni Association of the College is a greater source of strength and inspiration for the College community. The Association acts as a bridge between the College and the local community. Some of the members of the Association are very active and participate in the various programs and activities of the College wholeheartedly and also contribute with their valuable suggestions.

The college has a broadband internet connection with WiFi for better surfing of the internet on the college campus itself.

The college has Satisfactory laboratory facilities available for the H.S. and Degree Science students. The Department of Education also has a well-equipped laboratory of its own for practicals.

The college has Photostat facilities available in college. Students are allowed to avail themselves of this facility at a concessional rate.

The college has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.
