The College has a good Central Library with over 80,000 books, a reading room, open access, and a reference section for post-graduate and research students. Most of the departments have departmental libraries for Post-Graduate students. For poor and needy students, there is also a Textbook section in the library from where a limited number of textbooks may be issued for the entire session on payment of a nominal fee. The students are expected to make full use of the library facilities available. Separate rules for the use of the library facilities may be seen on the library noticeboard from time to time. The college library also provides an INFLIBNET facility to the faculty members, research scholars and postgraduate students to consult more than 80 thousand e-journals and e-books.

The College has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. Physics is the most basic natural science and considers physical systems ranging in size from nuclear to atoms to the cosmos. It is an extremely broad field with many subfields. Understanding the forces and laws that underpin the interactions of matter and energy forms a major part of the discipline. Applying this understanding to other sciences and technology offers numerous opportunities for well-trained physicists. The lab work undertaken is to provide practical information about Invertebrates, Vertebrates & animal physiology, etc., to undergraduate students. A sphygmomanometer, Hemoglobinometer, Blood group testing kit, RBC, WBC counting apparatus, animal dissection apparatuses, and compound microscopes are instruments present in the lab. The zoology lab provides basic and advanced knowledge about the animals by morphological, physiological, and anatomical aspects (by dissection). It is helping the students of Biotechnology to better understand animal models which are used in this field.

The College promotes holistic learning where equal stress is laid on sports and extra-curricular activities. The Sports facilities at the campuses are on par with international standards. Vajirao Degree College campuses not only strive to provide the highest level of academic excellence but also emphasize extracurricular activities. Students are constantly encouraged to indulge in physical activities to inculcate a healthy and active lifestyle.
