Veerashaiva College, Ballari

The library and Information Centre is located on the campus with an independent building adjacent to the main building with a floor area of over 10,000 sq ft and a seating capacity of 200 students at a time. It has a document collection of over 40,000 volumes of textbooks, reference books, project works, and back volumes of journals on various subjects. The library subscribes more than 120 journals on various subjects of national and international reputation catering to the needs of students, staff, and research scholars. The library services are fully automated using SOUL software developed by INFLIBNET Ahmadabad. Books are issued/returned on barcoded I.D. Students can access the library holdings through OPAC. The libraries provide internet facilities to students & staff, online access to e-journals, and databases of the library free of cost.

The college has a health center on campus. Doctors are available for consultation on selected days a week during college working hours for boys and girls. Every student has to undergo a medical checkup. The students will be intimated in advance about the conduct of medical check-ups.

The college has a departmental-based laboratories facility for the students.

Separate hostel accommodation is available for boys students. The preference will be given to students coming from rural areas.

The students are exposed to advanced levels of knowledge and skills through programs such as expert lectures, computers, and the internet with Wi-Fi facilities and classroom seminars and assignments of such type that make them refer the books in the library and internet. The students are provided orientation and skill development coaching.

The college has a well-equipped sports department to conduct athletic and sports activities of University, state level, and zonal level tournaments. Many of our students have been University blues and have participated in inter-University sports and games.

To organize certain extension activities, the College provides Alumni from the Alumni Association.

The college provides a Bank facility "Central Bank of India" on the Campus.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.

Transport facilities will be provided by the college from various places of the city to the college.
