Vidhya Sagar Women's College, Chengalpattu

The college has set up a hostel on campus for our students with many facilities. Spacious, airy, and ventilated rooms with adequate lighting create a wonderful ambiance for the students staying here. The residents have a conducive atmosphere for studying live and growing together as one family.

The College has Library is well equipped with Books, Textbooks, Journals, Periodicals and Newspapers etc. Our Library contains more informative collections of books required for the Staff and Students. And arranged systematically for their easy access. The existence of resources in our Library includes collections of books is 11,100, Journals (National and International) – 34 and Magazines – 15. Subscriptions of various Newspapers can be seen in our Library.  

The college has sports facilities for all students. The college has Students had participated and won prizes in basketball, tennis, athletics, and Javelin throw in various levels such as CMC Medical College, YMCA Buck tournament, Inter-zone University Match, and Athletic University Zone level.

The College has Computer department has well-equipped laboratories with facilities that are vital to training the students in state-of-the-art software and hardware.

The College has a spacious canteen facility on the college premises and is run by college management.  

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The College runs 23 buses to provide transport facilities to students from various places in the city. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.

The college has Alumni association was started in the year 2009. For the first alumni meet about 132 students were enrolled and were part of the program. Slowly it laid the step way for the college alumni associations in an active manner. At present, the Alumni meet with the motive of upgrading the quality of education to meet the challenges and needs of a dynamic environment while keeping up the morale and ethical standards required

The college has made available for the students to provide immediate medical assistance. A lady nurse is available round the clock during college working hours. The student mentor system monitors the academic progress and psychological perspective of the students. 

The college provides a Banking facility with an ATM counter. which by itself is the first of its kind was established in the year 2014. Such a facility gives both the students and faculty easy access to all banking transactions and inculcates the habit of saving. 

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college provides stationery which is also provided in-campus, for the convenience of the students. 

The college has club facilities for all students. They are the Citizen Consumer Club, Karuna & Enviro Club, Rotaract Club, and Youth Red Cross.

The college has Extracurricular Activity facilities for all students.

The college also provides workshop facilities for all the students.        

 The college also provides Training and Placement opportunities for all the students.

The college provides good classroom facilities and ICT-Enabled features for all the students.
