The college has regular medical checkups done by a registered medical practitioner. Blood pressure and weight monitoring are done regularly. In some cases, chronic diseases are also treated within our reach. First aid is always provided to students and staff in case of an emergency. Basic medicinal support is also provided. Sometimes physicians refer them for further treatment. Trained registered psychologists counsel students and staff to get out of mental stress, depression, and trauma. Boosting students before the examination is of immense help to the students to get rid of anxieties. The medical unit is equipped with an X-ray viewer, blood pressure measurer, stethoscope, and weight machine.

Library
The college has a Library collection that mainly includes textbooks and reference books on different subjects. Other than these, there is a collection of general reference books like dictionaries, encyclopedias, and books for general information, books relating to different competitive examinations, a biography of renowned persons, collected volumes of famous writers, and special collections on Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, Jibanananda Das, and Local History. Sports
The college has facilities for Indoor Games: There is a large and perfect Games room for the students which is equipped with Table tennis (regular coaching is held), Chinese checkers, carom, ludo, etc. In the case of other games like football, students practice on the ground of the University of Calcutta. The College has a Cricket Team and a Table Tennis Team.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has for Women's Computer Training Centre in January 2002. It aims to make students computer literate at a very nominal rate. Computer training is being given to students for entry into service.
Cafeteria
The college canteen is one of subsidized nature and the subsidy comes from the college only. The college appointed two temporary staff to run the canteen with help from other group D staff. The canteen runs on a no-profit no-loss basis and the basic infrastructure and roll-on capital are provided by the college authority.
Auditorium
The college's auditorium is small (seating capacity of hundred and fifty) but well equipped with an air-conditioning machine, proper screen, sound system, make-up room, and toilet facility.

Laboratories
All lab-based departments are facilitated with enough space, all required instruments, and modern teaching aids like a smartboard, camera cum projector more than one laboratory attendant, and instructor where necessary.

Gym
The college has a small gymnasium equipped with an automatic walker machine, a twister, and a standing exercise bike is erected adjacent to the Games Room. The girls regularly participate to maintain their physical fitness with the help of a lady assistant recruited by the college.
Workshops
The college training workshop was opened by Prof. Sunanda Bandopadhyay, Chairperson U.G. Board of Studies, and Prof. Lakhsminarayan Satpati. They welcomed the participants with their inaugural speech in which they mainly talked about the changes in the new syllabus under the CBCS system. They talked about organizing more workshops for training in practical instruments. They also gave suggestions about procuring the instruments. Lastly, they reminded everybody about handling instruments with proper care.
