The College Campus Women’s College, Tinsukia provided hostel facilities to the students from the beginning. It was in a rented house at Khageswar Road and later on, it was shifted to Durgabari in three houses. In the 90’s decade, the hostel was shifted to second floor of the academic block of the college but within a few years it was discontinued and reopened once again in 2006. The hostel shifted to its present location in April 2010 and it became a full-fledged hostel from 2011 by accommodating students on all three floors of the building after proper re-construction. The name of the hostel was given S.C.Dey Sorcar Memorial Girls’ Hostel since then. The number of students crossed 100 in 2012 and it was formally inaugurated on 29th March 2012 by the parents of then DC of Tinsukia, Minakshee Sundaram.
