YSP University has seven boys hostels that are well equipped with all modern facilities like a reading room, TV room, and common room with facilities for various indoor games. Aqua guard/ water coolers and refrigerators are also provided in all the YSP University boys' hostels. The YSP University boys hostels are overseen by the students' welfare officer, who is assisted by the hostel wardens. Every hostel has a chief and floor prefects, sports secretary, common room secretary, and mess in charge to manage the hostel's day-to-day activities under the overall supervision of the hostel wardens.

The university has a total of 10 girls' hostels and the hostels are equipped with various facilities such as a reading room, TV room, and common room with facilities for various indoor games. Other facilities available at the girls’ hostel are aqua guard/ water coolers and refrigerators. The students’ welfare officer is overall in charge of the hostels, who is assisted by the hostel wardens. Every hostel has a chief and floor prefects, sports secretary, common room secretary and mess in charge to manage day-to-day activities of the hostel under the overall supervision of the hostel wardens.
