The University has a well-stocked library not only in the areas we teach but in other areas too. We have bestsellers, autobiographies, biographies, collected volumes, books on topical interest, etc. It has National and International Journals and magazines, and also facilities to drop on hundreds of journals through internet subscriptions. The central library is the hub of information services in educational institutions. It is a creative and innovative partner supporting teaching, learning, and research activities. The Library of the University, Roorkee is housed in a spacious hall and centrally situated inside the campus. The library of the University has an extensive collection of books, scientific and technical journals, and electronic reference materials for satisfying the academic and research needs of the students and faculty. The Library consists of reference sections, circulation sections, audio-visual sections, periodical sections, book banks, and digital libraries. Library functioning is fully automated, to provide an effective and wide range of academic resources such as books, journals, online databases, DVDs, and other valuable materials. National newspapers in Hindi and English are subscribed to in the central library. Open shelf system is maintained and students are free to get the books issued from the library. Students are also encouraged to use library facilities during their free lectures.

The University has a multimedia computer center and an air-conditioned lab equipped with Pentium - IV generation computers having high processing capabilities to provide unbridled free internet access to all the students around the clock. The computers have advanced configurations and the latest software available to provide holistic IT training facilities. The University, of Roorkee separately has canteen facilities for refreshments for the students. The cafeteria at the campus is an ideal place to chill out after the hectic class schedule. The cafeteria environment stimulates and energizes the students by offering a wide choice of food, light snacks, and hot and cold beverages. The cafeteria is the most suitable place to relax and recharge for the subsequent sessions.

The Conference Hall can accommodate many people and is used for holding conferences, guest lectures, FDPs, etc. The Seminar Hall can easily hold more than 150 people and is used for occasions like Orientation Day and student Fresher or Farewell gatherings. The University regularly conducts seminars and conferences on relevant technical and current topics. Personality development programs, as well as inter-class seminars on topics relevant to the course program of study, are frequently organized. An events calendar of such activities is in place for each semester. The workshops and seminars aim to cheer vigorous competition among students, and their active participation leads to learning through sharing, discussion, and presentations. These activities help build self-confidence among students, and they develop the power to express themselves freely on any topic and in-depth knowledge of various subjects. Students are aggravated to take part in techno fest and project work.

The University maintains high-tech and well-equipped laboratories & other technical facilities for practical purposes as well as training programs as below mentioned: Lab of Chemistry: In the domain of Science, Chemistry encompasses a broad spectrum involving the preparation of all metals, non-metals, plastics, mixtures, various minerals, and chemicals, compounds, etc. All the living and non-living beings in the universe are full of chemistry. The chemistry laboratory of the department is well equipped with state-of-the-art technology having various equipment and glassware. 

The University, Roorkee with the view of developing the student's overall personality, will organize various sports meets from time to time. We all know that to have good health, we need physical fitness. For this sport plays a vital role because to have a healthy body, we need a healthy mind. The main objective of organizing various sports meets are: To provide students with good health To entertain students with the help of exercise & sports activities To inculcate a competitive attitude among students. To have sports activities at the national level To make students disciplined By keeping in mind the physical fitness of students various activities shall be conducted, like chess, carom, T.T., badminton, lawn tennis, cricket, basketball, football, athletics, etc. by the sports committee of the University

The University, of Roorkee provides adequate first aid medical facilities to the students and staff at its medical care Centre/dispensary on the University premises. University also offers ambulance service for the students and staff and takes utmost care in their emergent medical treatment in reputed city hospitals.

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.

The entire spectrum of academic activities is oriented to provide the best possible placement to the students, enhancing their exposure to the outside world and acting as an interface between the college and the prospective employers of repute.
