The institute also has a medical clinic that looks after the medical requirements of the students and staff. The RRU medical facilities include a doctor and two in-house medical attendants. 

The university also has 3 multi-equipped gyms that have all the latest machines and gymming equipment. The gym helps the students in keeping their health and fitness in check. 

The institute has a spacious library that is well equipped with books, textbooks, journals, magazines, and other such materials for the use of students and staff. The library has specialised resources in various subjects related to Internal Security, Policing, National Security, Criminology, Cyber Security, Forensic Science, Coastal Security, Criminal Law and related subjects in print as well as electronic form. 

The institute has facilities for multiple indoor and outdoor sports. The RRU Gandhinagar sports facilities include an international standard football ground including a 7-A side football ground.,400 m. track including field events, 2 Volleyball Courts, 2 Kho- Kho Ground, 6 Table Tennis Tables and 2 Kabaddi courts. The sports facilities also include carrom and chess. 

The institute has facilities for an excellent IT infrastructure that is easily accessible to both students and staff.

RRU also has facilities for departmental-based libraries that make the process of learning easier and more interesting for students. 

The university has a hostel especially for the boy students. These hostels are equipped with all basic amenities. The hostels also have wardens that are available for the service of the students. 

The institute also has facilities for girls hostels. The hostels have spacious rooms that are well-equipped with all the facilities of necessary requirements. Dedicated rectors and wardens are always present to assist hostellers as and when needed.

The institute has an on-campus guest house that has all the modern facilities along with an air conditioner. The guest is made with the purpose of a comfortable stay of visiting faculty, academicians and other dignitaries visiting RRU. Accommodation for a short duration is also provided for parents and students on advance notice.

RRU, Gandhinagar facilities also include both AC and Non AC transportation facilities. These transportation services are spread within the limits of both Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. In addition, the University maintains its own fleet of cars too for official visits and medical Emergencies.

The University has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.

Rashtriya Raksha University, Gandhinagar has a facility for a canteen as well. The canteen serves tasty and healthy food at reasonable rates. The institute serves food across many cuisines.
