Tamil Nadu Open University Library was established in 2004. The TNOU Library has a collection of 26795 Books. The collection of books covers various subjects to support the curriculum and the research of the University faculty and students. The purchase of Books was funded by a DEB Grant and the University.

TNOU is proud of its top-notch IT infrastructure that is geared towards meeting the academic and administrative requirements of the students and staff. To promote virtual learning and digital tests, through fast internet, several computer labs, and a learning management system have been put in place along with the video conferencing facilities. The e-learning resource, research database, and virtual classroom are accessed regularly by students as the whole of TNOU network is secured and upgraded.

The association provides many educational and professional interaction activities such as interactive sessions, the mentoring program, and yearly meetups. Now the University has also provided alumni and current learners with placement opportunities via job fairs and collaborations with industries, organizations, and institutes. The Alumni Cell is dedicated to keeping students updated with career information and providing them with proper guidance when it comes to higher education and professional development.

Tamil Nadu Open University has three big auditoriums which are the main venues for conducting graduation ceremonies, seminars, conferences, cultural festivals, and guest lectures. Each of them is fitted with the newest audio and visual equipment, comfortable seats, and stage accessories. TNOU has Electoral Literacy Club is a platform to engage students through interesting activities and hands-on experience to sensitize them to their electoral rights and familiarise them with the electoral process of registration and voting.
