The University has built separate hostel facilities for boys. There is a separate group of hostel maintenance staff under the active supervision of the Chief Warden. They take care of cleanliness, tending to lawns, and any malfunctioning of a sanitary system or electrical gadgets. Every effort is made to provide home comforts. Uttaranchal University hostel offers many exciting experiences regarding games and entertainment. On-campus hostel facilities: Laundry Services, First-Aid facility, 24-hour Ambulance Service, Wi-Fi campus with internet connectivity, Access to library resources during and after study hours, ATM facility, on-campus Cafeteria and Restaurant, Multi-cuisine food court.

The University has built separate hostel facilities for girls. There is provision for a single room, a double room, three beds, and four bedrooms. Each room is furnished with a bed/bed, mattress, study table, chair, cupboard, and curtains. There are spacious lawns within the hostel campus for the students to play different games take a walk or recreate themselves. We ensure 24×7 electricity, internet connectivity through Wi-Fi, security, and state-of-the-art plumbing. Great care is taken to maintain hygienic conditions and cleanliness. Hostels are spruced up with all the essential amenities and provide a pollution-free environment for all incumbents. Hostel common rooms are fully equipped with an HD TV network, indoor games, newspapers, and laundry staff. 

The University has tie-ups with the best hospitals in the district to provide immediate medical attention to the ailing students. Uttaranchal University has an ambulance van to reach the sick students to hospitals. First aid services are available on the University campus itself.

The University Library holds a hybrid collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include books, journals, theses, dissertations, databases, audio-visuals, CDs/DVDs, e-books, e-journals, reports, case studies, and conference proceedings, training manuals four-bed all subjects under various courses. The Central Library and departmental libraries are well automated with integrated software LIBCYB. The library provides user-friendly services such as Web OPAC for searching for books online in the library database. Subscriptions of E-journals and databases of International repute eg. IEEE, EBSCO, Westlaw, Manupatra, Sage, etc are accessible to the users on and off-campus. Uttaranchal University Library has a multimedia section for accessing NPTEL video lectures through ‘Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) on various subjects and topics. The media section provides a conducive environment for intellectual inquiry by providing user-focused services to obtain and evaluate scholarly information and knowledge. The central library is in proper coordination with the departmental libraries for effective library services to the Faculty members, Research scholars, students, etc. Book: The library is an ever-growing section along with the development of academics. Print Resources continue to be the primary learning resources. Uttaranchal University library holds more than 1,33776 (One lacs thirty-three thousand seven hundred seventy-six) books. Print Periodicals Collections: A journal periodical or serial is a publication that is produced continuously. For instance weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually. The Library currently holds and subscribes to 193 current periodicals (scholarly journals/magazines) 1000 Back Volumes (Bound journals) 15 National Newspapers.

The University has sports facilities for all students. Uttaranchal University has sports facilities with trained coaches and staff members who guide and mentor the students in their respective sports disciplines. These coaches provide valuable guidance, organize training sessions, and oversee intercollegiate competitions

The University Center has some high-performance computing facilities, state-of-the-art servers, and high-end Linux and Windows labs. and various advanced application software. The center supports an institute-wide 1000 Mbps fiber-optic network that connects all the academic departments, hostels, libraries, other blocks, and other central facilities to this center. It has a computer system with a server (Linux server, domain server, database server, Thin Client Server, backup server, ERP server, and storage). Labs and hostels are also provided with computing facilities through the wired Gigabit LAN connectivity via the Wireless Access Points. In keeping abreast of the IT revolution, Uttaranchal University has taken steps to equip its students with all the advantages that this facility has to offer. We have transformed the University campus into a Wi-Fi-enabled e-campus. All hi-tech machines are operated as workstations ,and a fully facilitated server from top-line brands is installed. The work of this center is under the control of Mr. Devendra Singh Bhandari, system manager.

The University has also set up an open-air joint ‘Nescafé’ which provides delicious muffins, sandwiches, different flavors of coffee, soft drinks, and piping hot snacks. No effort is spared to offer the best of the food. It has a comfortable seating arrangement and provides respite to the students after their grueling academic schedule.

The University has an auditorium facility for events and seminars. It boasts an impressive auditorium that serves as a venue for various events, seminars, and cultural activities. The auditorium provides a spacious and comfortable setting for both students and faculty to showcase their talents and engage in intellectual discussions.

The University has a transport facility for its day scholars on nominal charges through its self-owned luxurious buses. The buses ply different routes in the city to pick up and drop off the students from various areas. The students are spared the difficulty of commuting to the University by public transport. This also contributes to inculcating an element of punctuality among the students. Separate buses are plying for the staff.

The University has good networking for the alumni association. The University has strengthened the interaction and involvement of alumni, and for the betterment of the Institute, the Alumni Cell has been formed. Its purpose is to accelerate the efforts for the welfare of the University and to impart appropriate guidance so that the University can further rise

The University has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff. On campuses with Wi-Fi, students can work together on new ideas and projects. They can also get help from mentors and online resources to start their own businesses and bring their ideas to life. The University has a modern, well-equipped mini hall with Wifi and projectors are available to ensure the best possible environment for learning. 

The University maintains its accounts with a leading nationalized bank. The bank has also installed an ATM facility for the students on the campus. The Branch Offices of Punjab National Bank and State Bank of India are located about a few minutes’ walk from the campus.

The University has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. Uttaranchal University recognizes the importance of practical learning and has well-equipped laboratories for different departments. Uttaranchal University departmental-based laboratories provide students with hands-on experience and support their theoretical knowledge.
