SVU Tirupati facilities and infrastructure include boys’ hostels for men’s and there are ten blocks in the boys’ hostels such as blocks A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I and S. Students and research scholars from the constituent colleges of Arts, Sciences, and Commerce, Management, and Computer Science are accommodated in Janardhan Bhavan. SVU College of Engineering students and scholars are accommodated in four blocks: Visweswara, Viswakarma, Viswateja, and Viswapragathi. Cots, tables, and chairs are available in the SVU Tirupati boys’ hostel rooms. A television is provided in each block. Apart from that, each block has Telugu and English newspapers, as well as competitive news to help students prepare for various competitive examinations. During the summer, however, all students are required to leave the hostels. In SVU Tirupati boys’ hostel rooms, no electrical items, such as a heater or an electric stove, should be used. In the SVU Tirupati boys’ hostels, a book bank facility is also available. Only limited accommodation is available in the university hostels for men. Admission to SVU Tirupati boys’ hostels will be made as per rules and regulations in vogue. Accommodation cannot be provided in the University hostels to any student who is a native of any area within a 20 km radius of Tirupati.

The Sri Venkateswara University girls’ hostels are comprised of I and II premises with 9 blocks that accommodate all types of female students enrolled on S.V. University's four constituent colleges. The SVU Tirupati girls’ hostel is operated on a no-profit, no-loss basis. The girls’ hostel expenditures are shared evenly among the inmates. In each block, there are common halls with televisions and telephones. There are four messes in which the food is served. In the girls’ hostel premises, water coolers and protected water using mineral water facilities are available. In both places, a computer centre and a library are available for inmates to use.
